    " The Way "

So, today I did my daily QT and it was interesting. The book talked about what Jesus did for us. Yes, Jesus did a lot of things for us, heal the sick, feed the hungry, spread God's words and most of all died for our sins. But there is a another reason why he came here. Jesus once said, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father ". Jesus came here to us, so that we can meet God through Jesus Christ. Jesus told us that He is the way to God. He died for us so that we wouldn't get lost, instead he is walking by us leading us in the way of truth and life. Therefore, we are never alone. Jesus is with us during our hard times, our sorrows and even our happiness. Jesus is " The Way " to God, and this is what I have learned.

I also learned an interesting thing. It also reflects on Chris's previous Bible Study session. It was the talk about why Jesus came here as a human being. Jesus is almighty and all powerful. But why did he come as man? He could've came in a big bang and announce his arrival as God. Or he could've came as a talking majestic lion or a majestic animal. He could've came in flashing lights and fall down from the heavens in a golden chariot pulled by winged horses. Couldn't he? But he didn't. He came as everybody else. He was born from a women's womb and grew up as a normal human being. I have learned from both Chris and reading the Bible that, Jesus did this to show that he is like us. It is better to relate to us as a human being then a God. Jesus wanted a relationship with us not to be afraid of him because he is an almighty God. He also died the most painful way there ever could be. He was whipped with whips filled with thorns and shards of glass, ripping his flesh over and over right to the bone. Jesus rather could've gather everyone in a valley and put his hands over everyone and say that we were saved. But he instead suffered, bled, and died for our sins. That shows true love, and it is something that stays in our minds and now, nobody can even think about dying or suffering for other strangers but Jesus did. That is what makes him amazing.
